You must link back to whoever gave you the award. Quite simple really, it is a way of saying thank you to those who take time out for the wonderful comments that boost your day.and then I was given this one by Carol.

The rules of this award are 1. You can give it to one or one hundred or any number in between - it's up to you. Make sure you link to their site in your post.2. A Present

I thought you might like to see what Lucy gave to me last week. She made a canvas from The Artistic Stamper products which I thought was gorgeous, and very kind of her. Lucy regularly does projects in Craft Stamper and is a member of our Creative Team too.

The background is using our pearlescent powder paints, the Gibson Girl die sheets, the Artist's die sheet, and fibres. I have to say the pictures do not do it justice.

Arty Girlz Challenge Guest Designer

Crissi and Julie from Arty Girlz, asked me to be their Guest designer for their challenge this week which is Eras. I had given them a set of 20's stamps for a prize, and they very kindly asked me to be a designer. At the moment I am using my BIA to good use with our chipboard book blanks. I made a journal with Black UTEE and gold inks, and combined everything! Here is what I made:

If you would like instructions they will be on the website under projects later this week.
Enjoy the challenge!

Winner of Magnolia Challenge

It has been one of those weeks, and suddenly it is Monday again, and that means that I must announce the winner of the Tilda challenge! The winner, chosen by random integrator is.... drum roll.....
Adele
Congratulations! Please email me with your address , so I can send you the goodies.
I have been very busy this week, meeting up with my Creative Team,

where we had loads of fun, (and a good lunch)and it was absolutely great seeing everyone together. I got a gorgeous canvas from Lucy and the gorgeous puzzle pieces from Andrea too, which remind me to remind you that the Christmas in July Challenge ends on the 31st July, so you still have time to enter. Andrea is also my featured blog at the moment (see the side panel) This is something I am doing periodically, and I was chuffed to find that I was also featured on another blog "Stampin' When I can" earlier in the week- which I was amazed about!

I have also been creating artwork for a swap and for a workshop , which I will show you later this week. I made a very saucy birthday card for a friend of mine who is 50 today, and I just hope he likes it. I used alcohol inks ( Kuretake ones) on the background and then stamped the girl in the water from the nudes A4 plate over it , and then layered it on some paper I have had for ages. It was a quick fix, and done in an extreme hurry!

I promised you a big surprise blog today and here it is!

Finally, I have a new Blog challenge using Magnolia stamps with blog candy (Rowdy William) see below courtesy of Donna from Crafty Krafts . Thank you Donna.

I am absolutely delighted with the stamps Hels has designed, as they go so well with the Magnolia and Tilda stamps. I got given a Magnolia stamp and bought the house , (okay I finally succumbed to the Magnolia stamps!) and made a card for the challenge .

I am quite chuffed with it, and used Prismacolour pencils to colour it in- very soothing colouring in! For the challenge you can make anything you like as long as it has a Magnolia, Tilda,or Stitchels stamp in it. Here is the blog candy and you will also get a Stitchels stamp too!
The challenge ends on Sunday July 20th.

Alcohol ink Tasters

The rain has set in, and all hopes of a BBQ have been dashed , so not feeling very creative, I looked through some of the stuff I have done in previous times, and came across 2 small pieces of stampbord that I had alcohol inked and stamped on. This background technique is one of my current favourites , and I feel a need to get them out again. Stampbord provides a perfect background for them, as it is very smooth. The one with the face on is a stamp I have had for years by Stamp in The Hand, and this is a tiny part of it, and the passion and pattern are from
my range.

Hope you like .....

Christmas in July Blog Challenge

Now I know , you are thinking I am quite mad! You would be quite right, but I always say the early bird catches the worm!. I love the end of June/beginning of July and days on the beach in the hot sun, cherries, strawberries and cream, Pimms, that quintessential drink, Wimbledon, and all things that make up an English summer come to mind.....and so I thought that no-one really crafts much when the weather is good and there are better things to do, so why not set a challenge that allows us to think of another warm and glowing time of the year- Christmas.
So I challenge all of you out there who read this make a Christmas piece of art, it can be a card, an ATC, a decoration, even a cake!
Hels has made a fabulous canvas for the winner-

All you have to do is post your entry on your blog or photo website and then post a comment, so I know you have entered.
