What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday...Happy 3rd Anniversary!

Alarmingly Wednesdays seeming to appear more regularly than most days of the week... worrying really when we have exactly the same days of the week every week. Maybe it is because every Wednesday I show you my workdesk or my space , wherever I may be.... Well this week is a Happy Anniversary to all WOYWWers! 3 years to be precise since Mrs Dunnit, of Stamping Ground deemed Wednesdays to be the day of the desk! To celebrate some of us are giving away an atc...., so if you follow me on the list don't forget to email me with your address so I can send it to you, and in keeping with the celebrations of WOYWW, I have decorated my desk..AND... wait for it... ADDED A MEZZANINE Shelf!!!!

The idea was a brainwave borne out of last week's post, and as all ideas come to be ( when lying in the bath!! LOL) I asked my long suffering hubby to build me a mezzanine floor on my desk! I am loving it....a place to put all the stamp holders, and bottles, and of course to get it really messy!! Perfect for hanging the bunting for the Diamond Jubilee!

Smashing it up! with giveaway!

I am such a bad blogger....it has been an age since I did a proper post! I guess that work often gets in the way, and this week, we have been getting deliveries everyday, and they needed to be checked and priced, and touched, and in the case of the Smash books, squirrelled away for me...that's one for you , and one for me...LOL I am loving these and to be honest it is going to be really hard to add stuff to the books, they are well thought out, and the accessories are super! If you are a stamper, but love to journal or keep bits for yourself, then these are brilliant for just keeping by your side, and you even get a pen ( like the pen!) and a glue stick in one!  Did I just do a review? mmmm I think I did! LOL .

As I said we have had deliveries all week, and we have restocks of lots of products, and in one of the parcels, lots more Distress Markers including the Picket Fence.. and in the same parcel there were some of these!!

A BLACK Ranger apron! Perfect for making a mess... you know me.. paint paint everywhere...but not on my apron now!!

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 155

Here I am again on a Wednesday showing you my sort of tidyish space! Actually looking at the pictures it is a pile it high, push it back, scenario!! Now to coin a phrase ...my mojo is a'missing! I haven't done much over the past few weeks. Admittedly I have been busy, but as for a piece of ART! nada, nothing, zilch... but I am sure that the sun will bring out my mojo... he was just waiting for it to appear! My desk is relatively clear, for me,  apart from a new acquirement in the shape of an antique stamp holder from fleabay, which was a bargain at 99p!!! Think I have a collection now! LOL Just need more space for them! Maybe a mezzanine floor is needed?!!!

I am looking forward to next week's 3rd anniversary, and now just have to get the mojo in gear to make an ATC!

WOYWW 154...moving spaces

It's that time of the week again, and I am here showing off my desk...only this time I have cheated marginally..only marginally...and am showing  you my desk from last Saturday at Port Sunlight!!! I am sure it will count... I mean after all, I didn't take part last week due to other committments.. namely that thing called ....work!

Can you spot the headband with the wobbly flags... doing my bit for the Queen and country!I love working in my "pop-up" shop. I get to chatter incessantly about inks and dies and sprays and just generally make a nuisance of myself to anyone who will listen!!

Loads and loads of people I know dropped by.. Sue Roddis, Tracey Evans,

 my gorgeous talented friend Sarah Anderson ,

and lots of my customers whom I love! I even got a jar of pickles from my dear friend Annie... yum yum!!
All in all, it was very pleasant way to spend a Saturday!! Now i have been a very bad woywwer, and have so little time, that getting around to everyone's desks is quite a feat for me... so this week, I am aiming to make it to as many as I can get to....

Blog Candy Winner!

I have been such a bad blogger... it as been a whole week since I last blogged , but I have an excuse...LOL We have been to do a show, and oh my! I really am not as young as I was ( no surprise there then?!! ) and it takes me so much longer to recover than it used to! I think that driving 12+ hours in 2 days really knocks me out, plus of course setting up, pulling down, demoing, and chatting wears me out! The upside is I get to see old friends, and new friends, and Port Sunlight always makes me smile :)) I am spent yesterday unloading the van, and falling asleep on the sofa! I took a few pictures of Port Sunlight with my new camera, but haven't had time to load them yet, so watch this space later in the week :)) Meanwhile Jo took this one of me ( pinched off her blog ) ...look at the state of my hands!

Saturday's Workshop

I hope you are having a great long weekend.. I was being lazy yesterday, and a little bit lazy today!!, and Saturday was spent having a great deal of messy and inky fun with these ladies at It's Crafting Time!

 I was teaching altered book techniques for the day, and as always, am continually blown away by the magnificent creations that happen during class. Here are a couple of pictures, that I took with my new camera during class....

and this is the beginning of my niche, with the gorgeous colours provided by Dylusion's Sprays!

Hot off the Press!

Here I am again at silly o'clock in the morning, while the light is coming up, typing away .Do you ever get those flash in the pan moments when you think of a title for your blog post.  Well today's title sums up everything about May that I feel right now!
I am soooo excited as I have designed this month's free stamp in Craft Stamper (a UK publication) and my copy dropped through the postbox yesterday! Wooohooo!

I also made a couple of pieces for the magazine too, and I can show you a sneak peek of one of them.... this is the back of the book :)

This weekend is May Day holiday here in the UK, and to celebrate the magazine and the fact that there is a day off , I have got specials on the swirl stamps from The Artistic Stamper here with 25% off!

WOYWW 152..it's tidy (sort of...)

It's that day again, and I for one am never sure what happened to the days in between! Time for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. I did sort of tidy my desk since last week, well okay I shifted a lot of stuff! But at least there is space! This is a short  sharp post as I have a few things to be getting on with today. I did get time to play yesterday ( not for long, mind you), and the Spring Distress inks have arrived..yea.. am loving these colours...mmmm, so I made an ATC very quickly.

Now if you think a picture of my desk is odd, jump over to Julia's for a view of lots more! By the way can you see how crisp and clear my pictures are.. new camera..hehe..loving it.. a Nikon D3100 for the camera buffs out there!
