Ranger Workshop and more classes...

I taught a class on Saturday which was very much inspired from a class I did at CHA in January with Tim Holtz. Because some of the products have not yet hit the shops, I improvised and used some Artistic Stamper stamps, and used products already available.
It was a fun class, and I love how everyone did their own thing!
Here are some pictures....

Can you guess the original creation from Tim's class, and my interpretation of it?

If you fancy a class which has been inspired by my CHA experience, I am teaching a lettering for your journal class this Saturday , very much influenced by Joanne Sharpe.

You can find all of our classes here

The Artistic Stamper Store 1st Birthday Party

It is hard to believe that a year ago Mal and I ventured into our first retail emporium, and on Saturday we celebrated with lots of our customers. It was fab day , not dampened at all by the torrential rains or a road closing!  We welcomed everyone in to our make 'n takes by Georgina, Claudia and myself.  We even had a barbecue cooked by Lesley. And the service ( ding!) by Ginny, Liz and Kirsten provided was the bees knees!

Thank you to everyone who came by and made the day very special :)
I am getting ready to spend 3 days out of the office while I take a retailer workshop with the delightful Mr Holtz and  delectable Ms Reaveley up in Coventry... getting rather excited...lol

A new career?

The weekend was long and full of fun as Mal and I created for the shop! I learnt new skills, while I held the wood, and the hammer and the screws! It was case of "where is the hammer Jen?", as I looked everywhere for it, searching high and low saying " I put it down there, Mal", only to find it in my hand!  I am not sure that shop fitting will be my new career, but boy, oh boy, they do look fab, even though I say it myself :) My husband is just the best!!
