woyww...the most expensive pens in the world!!

Welcome to another week at the messiest desk on What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday hosted by the ubiquitous Mrs Dunnit! I confess that last week I never visited one desk :(( bad I know , but I just didn't get time, and no time later either :((( but I promise to do better this week, and try to visit most of the desks.
Here is mine! Now don't faint, it is worse than last week, seems to be a dumping ground for all my junk, and oh yes the most expensive pens in the world! The 3 white pens are from the USA, and in themselves aren't expensive, but the carriage was, and I had hit the buy it now before I even did the math ( not like me at all!) .. pens $6.00, postage $31.00!!! ouch! However they arrived within 3 days, and I bet I get charged for the import duty too! ( not seen that bill yet!!)
So feast your eyes on the most expensive white pens ever!! Now to clear a  space to use them!

Have a very happy woyyw day, and pop over to Julia's for more fun!

Very busy desk! Looks like your pens will fit in well! We all have stories about hitting the button at the wrong time. I bought 25 of something thinking I was only getting 5...wondered why it was so expensive.

Hi Jennie, won't disagree with you about your desk but enjoyed snooping round it. I've been caught out the same way when I bought from the US but fortunately for lots of paper:( However, a white pen is a very useful addition to your crafting arsenal, I use mine often to add faux stitching to a card:) Elizabeth x #61

Holy Maloley postage is a killer. I wonder how much it would have cost to send them to me in the states then to you. I've sent wooden stamp sets to UK and Australia and never paid more than $17 pens have to weigh less than that.

Love you desk.
The pen's Oh boy, they better be good;)

Ouch! I had a similar problem with a Silhouette cutting blade - cost me £23 (inc post) BUT I had to pay £4 import tax and £14 for the pleasure of paying the tax!! Woopedyflippingdo!! Hope your pens exceed all expectation!!

Love the desk, I think it looks deliciously crafty. Are the jar/bottle images from a stamp set? Gorgeous. Have fun with your pens! TFS :D #120

Hi, I think that is crazy. I would be so upset to pay so much just for shipping. I've never done this before but that is so bad. If and when you need pens I would be more that happy to get them and mail them to you. I live in Pennsylvania, US. Please keep my email if you want. We can work out the details. Aissa19@aol.com

That postage is a nightmare, takes all the fun out of buying stuff, hope they are worth it. I'm sure you'll do something wonderful with them though.

Never mind the pens, just how many bottles of Glossy Accents does a girl need???!!!

Actually, I am interested in the pens - are they white Sharpies? not seen them before, oh bugger, I want some now!!

HarmonySweetpea said...

Wow so much on your desk! Hope you're having a great week.

Sande said...

Your desk looks like a creative and busy person. Just like mine. If mine were neat and tidy and everything in it's place, I'd go insane trying to find stuff. 'Tis the truth, you can ask my neat and tidy daughter.

As for the pens....I would be more than happy to ship you pens if it would save your that outrageous shipping charge. Sounds like you were charged packing and shipping.

Make note of my email and contact me if you need pens. m_ysteria@verizon.net

I don't know about Sharpie and white pens. I use Bic White Out's they write over anything.

I love your desk, so many things to drool over. That postage is totally ridiculous, how can they justify that? Someone else mentioned paying a high price for Silhouette blades - I cannot find a seller anywhere who can send blades to this country. However, there is Quickcutz in England who supply the blades, with no extortionate p&p and certainly no duty. Hope you get plenty of hours out of each pen to justify that theft of your money in the postage. Have fun.

Kezzy said...

Ouch let's hope they last a long time!! Loving your desk lots of creativity to see.

Kristin said...

That is a lovely looking mess to me and your mess always makes me feel better :) Mind you, mine isn't any worse or better it just reminds me messes mean we are busy and creating! And for gosh sakes, call or email me the next time you need those pens, Holy Cow that is ridiculous!
