Foiled by the time!

I have failed miserably in trying to post on my blog...time is just running away with me, and if I was honest with you, the fact that I am surrounded by beautiful stash, and gorgeous stamps makes it harder. At the weekend, I got to play with gilding flakes, and glue and Dylusions Sprays, and stamps.. demoing at The Big Stamp & Scrapbooking Show! We had a blast, even though the floor was more than exceptionally hard, (feet were sore), but I love the shows, and I even went shopping! LOL.. Here are my wonderful helpers...Kat and the man with the till! sorry board!!

I thought I would show you one of my tags which I started, but needs finishing ( or what do you think?!). Sprayed with Dylusions, gilded within an inch of it life, stamped with Journaling words, and check out the size. it is a GIANT tag..they are the new love of my life! LOL

Hoping you have a creative day

I'm not surprised you don't have time to blog..I bet you barely have time to sleep!
I saw these giant tags and resisted for no particular reason except I had no idea what I would do...as usual, and now look..I need some!! Love the use of the leaf. Yep, I would be adding words. But I would. I'm often accused of being unable to make a card that doesn't have some sort of word stamp on it!!

Like Julia I now wish I had picked up some of those big tags, I can't see how I can manage without....... there may be an order on its way later today(Like I didn't spend enough at the weekend lol). Have a good day, Cindy

That is gorgeous but I know what you mean. I might add some dimension but not sure what.

Glad you had time to shop as well as 'work' Jennie. What did you use to stick the gilding flakes? I bought some at your shop and haven't used them yet cos not sure.

Loving your tag with its fab colours and gildings. Pleased you had a great time, its a wonder you have time to blog at all considering how busy you are now. Hope the shop is doing well. xx

How you remain vertical is beyond me so well done for getting a post done now.
Love the colours/gilding on the tag. Now strangely enough this is an argument I've got going on in my head too - instinct says add dimension/embellies/words but they can end up looking too busy so you lose the background. TH would add a couple of small metal pieces and that would be it, but ultimately it is your decision (no pressure!)
Thanks for sharing, hugs Buttons x

Not surprised there's been no blogging time - the show must have been a huge undertaking! Tag looking great already, looking forward to more... must have a play with the big size!
