I also have a little bit of artwork , not made with with the stamp, I hasten to add, but with my lovely Penny Black stamps that I bought a few weeks ago. This was a quick Thank you card for my friend who owns the cottage we stayed in in The Black Mountains. I used a piece of chipboard for the main bit on the card and distress inks. The stamps were stamped in Distress ink too, and lightly spritzed with a mini mister before stamping.

sadly I think you are all right I think it is a puzzle too. Or a flower or a very skinny udder on a cow, but I think it has to be a puzzle.
I think it is antenna of a bug of some sort
