I've Just seen a Face

Over on Hel's blog there is another Sunday Stamper Challenge, and this week it is faces. I have to admit I have lots of faces I could use, including the Gibson Girls, the Children faces, and  a number of ones I have lurking in a box that I have collected over the years, but it has been one of those days today, and nothing spoke to me, so I grabbed a set of Mr Holtz's stamps, namely Mini Classics, an old plain postcard I found lurking near the stamps ( lots of stuff *lurks* in my room! lol), and some distress inks, and my trusty Black Archival ink. I covered the postcard in distress inks, and then spritzed what was left on the non stick sheet with water and smooshed the card in them as well. It gave it a very distressed look. I then inked up the Flourishes ( this is my favourite stamp at the moment , that is until the next favourite stamp!) , and used Distress Mahogany with it.
Then I stamped a number of stamps from the Mini Classics in the black ink on top. Finally I Sprayed (probably a bit too much) some Cosmic Shimmer mist (ancient copper) on top. I haven't tried this before, and was quite surpised by the pure amount of mica in it! Fabulous!

Finally as this is going to a friend ( she may or may not guess!), I added a little faux porcelain rose brooch to it.

Thank you Hels for the challenge.

I think this should be a new type of bank note to cheer us all up. A special flower on each note would be great, but not much room in your purse though! Lovely jennie.

This is gorgeous, Jennie. I love your interpretation of the theme, different to Hels and both equally lovely. I think the porcelain roses could be very addictive!
