Chipping Away

It's week 12 of the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge , and this week it is Chipped Enamel. I have to say in all honesty that the Distress embossing powders are not my favourite product, although the stamp I have used is!! lol To find out how to do the technique you need to go to page 44 of Tim's book.
I used a very very small tin that slides open, and covered the tin in Stonewashed Alcohol ink before I started. I can't tell how to do what I did, suffice it to say I used Mustard Seed, Broken China and Worn Lipstick on the tin with the cogs background for the stamp.
To join in  just hop, skip and cyber jump over to Lovely Linda's blog.
Have a creatively super Saturday!

Hello Jenny,

What would you have created if distress powders were a favorite product ! ????

I really, really love your tin : completely, the colors, the chipped enamel on it... Completely my stuff !

I love the background on the tin with the gears on in distress ink and then the chipped enamel on the metal embellishments. I keep this creation in mind !

greetings from belgium

Oh, how COOL! Jennie, you've done it again. This is utterly brilliant!

Great idea to use the AI as your background-- the color is so rich. I LOVE the stamp, and your creative way of combining the Distress Powder colors worked so well.

Are you sure this isn't one of your favorite products? I'd never have guessed. You gave it the star treatment here! Love the little watch parts inside, too.

You just... ROCK!

Wow, Jennie! I didn't consider a tin for that technique! Yours is wonderful....and I have a sliding tin I might have to try! Beautiful work.

It's a totally gorgeous piece, but I do agree that the Distress EPs are not my favourite distress product! Thank you for inspiring me to try out this technique.
