woyww....it's a mirage!

Hi, now for those of you who regularly visit my blog on a Wednesday, for What's On Your Workdesk, you are seeing things! This is not my desk... this is someone else's!! I mean how could it be so tidy? Where are the bottles, and the bits, what is that wide open space where there should be just a great big mess? That's my desk! I haven't tidied it away just for the photo , I just haven't created much in the last few days, just been away from the desk, and busy doing paperwork..yuck! for those of you who have spotted the mini sewing box, it was a pressie to myself last week :))
Please excuse me if I don't comment on some of your blogs, as blogger has taken to deleting my comment before I have even put my name to the page! It just won't let me comment, and I am more than surprised it even lets me post!! lol If anyone can enlighten me as to how to stop this...please let me know! I am getting angry with it now! grrr
Anyway , if you fancy seeing the wonderful creativity that is on a hundred or more creative desks pop over to the wizard of words that is Mrs Dunnit's own desk!
Have a very happy day!
Hugs

Are you going to use the sewing box for dewing things or something else? Your room looks mighty tidy indeed, today! Wish mine did...

Some people trying to visit my blog with some particular browsers just find that it disintegrates into a mass of purple... not very attractive and very frustrating.
I can only admire your tidiness!
Have a great day.

Nice sewing box - what are you going to use it for?? I'm rather taken with the metallic (?) cake stand in the background, very smart!

I have a dark wood version of one of those (with no memory of how long I have had it or where I got it from) but I do love it - mine is used for crafty stuff - my indian inks and pastels and some sticker sheet thingies and bulldog clips (mini ones?!) It had to be repaired when my toddler snapped a bit off (I may be coveting yours in the lighter wood........)

Blogger..only works when it wants to and I think it lost its MOJO too. SOOOOOOOOOOO Frustrating.Don't now have patience to relearn ways with Firefox, maybe this winter.

Blogger makes me crazy - But I can see your desk so it's all good ... for ME! :)

That photo looks very old-fashioned, like it was snapped in "olden times" I ust love the vintage feel of it, even if it really is modern. Of course it could be the rubbish calibration on my monitor...

Fabulous desk. I am going to print out the picture and put it above my desk to inspire my tidiness.

As to the commenting, I had the problem and this worked: first, sign out of google. Close and reopen your browser. Then log back into google (or blogger, whatever) but don't let it remember you. Ridiculous, but it did work. Hope it helps you out.

I was having a problem too. And I did the same thing as the above blogger mentioned, signed out. Then, when signing back in I 'unchecked' the box that said 'keep me signed in'. Worked like a charm!

I've had some problems with comments as well, so I guess you can't do anything about it except waiting it out and hoping for the best.

Hi and happy WOYWW day to you. Can't help you with the comment thing except that you follow Sarah's suggestion and change browser for a while ... worked for me a few months ago though I was able to go back to Internet Explorer eventually. It's odd that you can post but not leave comments. I have a similar sewing box which I've had for years ... very handy. Hope you have a good week. Elizabeth x #75

So many people seem to be having problems with blogger. I have one friend who has migrated to wordpress because of all the problems. Hope you manage to fix it soon.

Blogger does seem to be having a hissy fit at the moment - that sewing box looks like it could be ripe for some altering.

I use firefox and am having constant problems with Blogger. It started nearly a year ago and I've tried on various browsers. Firefox is the best imo for everything. I get problems with blog pages not loading at all (sometimes up to 20 attempts!), and when they do, it's extremely slow, and the pictures don't load properly, or half the stuff (like followers, blog archives etc. etc.) either don't load at all, or don't work properly. I'm heartily sick of this and cannot think why they can't sort themselves out and give us the decent service we used to have before. What are they playing at? The trouble is, there's nobody to contact about it. If you click on a "contact" button all you get is forums. Useless.

Happy WOYWW.

I also use Firefox, and providing you keep clearing out all the temporary files, things seem to work reasonably well. I also like the semi black and white picture this week.

I dont think anyone know why blogger does that . I had this problem the other night ... for no reason, now it is fine.
my theory; all computers are male. . they can only cope with one thing at a time! (dont tell my husband I said that, it makes him mad)

I too have had that problem _ bery annoying.
That desk is far too tidy for you, I presume normal service will be resumed next week! LOL!

Neet said...

I totally agree that computers are male. There would be half, if any, of the problems if it were female.
Nice tidy desk Jen. Hope you get sorted soon.

Paperwork. Argh. Been trying to ignore that this week, but even DH has started to notice the pile now...resistance is futile!
Are you sewing AS WELL as everything else now then? Good grief. Show us your top sellers from APally will ya, feel like I'm missing out!
