What's On Your Workdesk- post of the week!

Well Wednesday crept up on me again, and I really have no idea what happened to the rest of the week, but I always manage to post a view of my desk on a Wednesday even if it has nothing on it! However this week, it has a page or two of my ongoing altered book, where I mess with ideas. I started this book about 10 years ago at a workshop at CHA , and it does contain some good stuff, and some not so good stuff. These pages are using new large A4 masks, and lots of gesso, and even more Colorwash, and Perfect Pearls mists... very quick to do apart from the drying, and I still am not sure whether to add more gold and blue....decisions.. decisions! Anyway, here is my desk, in accordance to the rules of What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, hosted by the delectable Mrs Dunnit! A more than slightly odd view of my desk.. makes me feel giddy looking at it!

I am showing you mine, and hopefully you will show me yours!
Have a creative Wednesday

Today I found the pot of spackle I bought at Ally Pally and remembered I also bought some new masks - maybe even this one, it looks familiar. Can't find them anywhere (I tidied up the other week, so I know they are somewhere SAFE) so seeing this on your blog is like rubbing salt in the wound lol. Love what you've done with them and who ever knows when to stop..... Happy WOYWW

Ten years - that's a collector's item. Contains good and bad stuff? Sounds like life not just an art book. Those pages on show look fabulous and I love your busy desk. Thanks so much for my lovely prizes which are decorating my desk this week! Thanks for sharing today, Sarah at 2.

I loooove the gesso and stencil technique. I do tend to be very heavy with the spray wash so I would go with even more blue and green. 10 years of work and styles must be fascinating to have a record of how your styles and techniques have changed.

Great post and thanks for the giggle! I love the picture you took of your desk. I've done something to my arm/elbow which has made me over compensate, so I now have issues with my neck. Figure that one out!! Na...don't waste your time! Looking at your picture put my neck in a position that didn't cause any pain. A giggle and a minute without discomfort - THANKS! Have a great week!
