Stamping Contrasts in Craft Stamper!

I did tell you that buses often come along in twos, and today the third bus came along in quick succession, as I got my April copy of Craft Stamper today, and oooh I have been published! Actually, The Artistic Stamper supplied the stamps set for the projects that myself, Kate Crane, Gail Milburn and Joanne Allison created. I am loving them all.. I cannot show you any of them, but there will be an extra piece by myself on line after the magazine is officially out.   Check out the back page too! I have designed the free stamp for the enxt issue :)) The magazine is officially out on Friday, and we will have copies in the shop.

Jumping on the bus!

You know that saying "you wait all day for a bus, and then two come along together"? well today I have done two blog posts!! This morning's one for the winners of my blog candy, and now one showing you a couple of the samples that I did at Stamperama. I did give almost all of them away, and my phone didn't take good photos, and my camera battery died! So, I kept a couple that I liked, and thought I would show you them here.
I was demoing Distress paints and Dylusion sprays. This one is of the distress paints, and I stamped Kiki in black distress paint, and just loved the effect I got by accident!

This one is using a new Crafter's Workshop stencil, , Dylusions new colours of spray, and Kiki again!

You can come and play with the new Distress paints and learn or relearn some Distress techniques with me on Saturday at one of my pop up workshops. If you want to book, and find that postage is added, don't worry I will refund it to you.
I also have a workshop on Sunday at Christine Emberson's Spellbinders Academy, if you fancy creating a gorgeous canvas :)

I may well be back on another bus tomorrow..lol In the meantime stay creative

New! New! New!

It has been so hard keeping this quiet for the last few months, but I am absolutely thrilled to introduce to you two new designers!
May I present Katy Fox ( editor of Craft Stamper) and Neil Walker. Both have produced two collections of stamps with completely different outlooks. I just love them both, and I know they fit with The Artistic Stamper range of stamps.

Final sneak peek!

Tomorrow is the big reveal day, and here is just a taster of lots of lovely red rubber that I have been moulding especially for the shop, and for Stamperama on Sunday. For those of you who cannot get to either, the stamps will be online tomorrow at about midday!

Peek-a-boo!

I am here again ! Just a very short post for you today. I managed a few minutes to sneak a couple or maybe more (?) of the new stamps onto a tag for you. Lots of Seasonal Distress inks, a tag, some rubber, and here is sneak peek two of the week for you! The question today is how many new sets of stamps do I have coming out? You can answer as many times as you like... the winner will win the stamp set of their choice! I will announce the winners early next week.

Sneaky peeks...

I always love giving you sneaky peeks of new stamps from The Artistic Stamper that we have... and today is no exception. We have not one but two new collections of stamps being launched on Friday! Both collections are completely different to each other, and I know you will like both of them! As always my sneaky peeks involve giveaways, and all week I will be giving away the new stamps! As I was away at the weekend at Stitches spending my time chatting nineteen to the dozen, and buying lots of goodies!!, I haven't had time to do anything with them, but I did manage to photograph a couple of the dies :))

My Mechanical Valentine...

You know that saying when the cat is away the mice will play? Well leave a man alone in a shop full of creative goodies, and eventually the bug rubs off! Look what he has made for me for Valentines day!!! The pictures do not do it justice at all, but there are Tim Holtz bits and bobs, The Artistic Stamper stamps, old watches pieces ( snaffled away from my stash..lol) lots and lots of UTEE! Do you think he has been to one of my classes? lol

Queen for a Day!

Saturday. Pop up workshop. 3 hours. New Distress Paints. new Dylusion sprays. new stamps. Willing pupils. Bossy teacher!
As the girls who know who come to my workshops, often I will create something for the workshop just before.. I am not one for making something weeks ahead, and advertising for months, so Saturday's workshop was a surprise to all who attended, and boy was I surprised! I have taught lots of workshops over the years, and am always amazed by the artistic endeavours of my pupils, but this class was one of the best I have taught in ages. We had a class of 11, and although I missed taking photos of 2 of the canvases ( heavens knows how that happened!? ) here are 9 of them! Absolutely everyone made their canvas their own!  Beautiful, beautiful pieces of art, which I hope they enjoyed making. I am repeating this workshop at Christine Emberson's new studio at the beginning of March...details to follow

Creative Team Challenge- Hearts and Flowers

Welcome to February, and I am loving it! The days are getting lighter.. spring is almost here! I can smell it in the air!! LOL It is of course the beginning of the month and time for another great challenge over on the Creative Team blog. I have taken part this month, and made a card! Shock! Horror! I hear you laughing, but there is an ulterior motive, as I am practising for Valentine's day!!
