woyww-the aftermath

I cannot believe that it is the end of August, and what happened to the summer? Not much warmth or sun, and definitely no barbeque's! I am writing this at 06.20am and it is dank and miserable! Today is a Wednesday, as usual I am showing off my desk to all who participate in What's on your workdesk Wednesday! Short sweet, and a BIG mess! This is the awful aftermath of having a busy workshop at the weekend where I just dumped on my desk! Does the angle and slight fading out of the picture help? lol

This is the result of the workshop, so I think the mess could be almost forgiven?

If you want to see more of this weekly forage into other peoples desk, jump on a bottle of multi medium to the wonderful world of Julia!
I am hoping to get time to visit yours today
Happy Woywwing!

wow, never been to your desk before, It looks like a Ranger heaven! I love the project you did and the mess is well worth it. It does look like you are a fairly organised person so this will be quick to put away! Then you can start again like me!

That's a supremely untidy but creative desk - *applause*. Great result with your box of bits though, like the layout and colours very much. My fav boxlet is the clock and music combo, very pleasing :D xx

I love the creativity of the desk and no, the angle doesn't help, just like the artistic sunbeams did not help my desk a few weeks ago, but its OK. You made something fantstic, so all is forgiven.
Happy WOYWW

Mess is always forgiven. Mostly because it makes us messy folks feel better about ourselves! As to the summer, well I never expected to miss a hot, sticky disgusting New York summer, but I have! At least we have our art for brightness - like your wonderful tray.

Fab printers tray project and well worth messing up for it. You desk is perilously slopy today... or is it just the photo...there is a landslide due otherwise!

Great Trade Off,a fun mess but a great project result. I'd say it is a positive. What would crafting be without a mess? Sounds like we will be getting a much needed rain, almost too late for any help for our field crops. But we were spared from terrible desctructive storms. Maybe Sept will bring a calmness, I love fall. Enjoy WOYWW

I see no mess. Although that butterfly is large and quite disconcerting. Bet your workshop was a huge blast.

I think can be forgiven for the "busyness" as the resulting craft is lovely. That doesn't sound like very good English but I'm sure you know I mean

Yep, that mess is definitely forgivable to produce something as stunning and worth doing as that. Summer, what summer - apparently this one has been the coldest in Scotland for 16 years! Have a great week. Elizabeth x #51
