WOYWW 157 ...

I am sitting here writing this blog post very early Wednesday morning, the day after the Queen's Diamond Jubilee four day celebrations, thinking that another 4 day holiday would be nice!   My desk is as excited as I am , still tidy and neat ready for WOYWW hosted by the now tanned Julia!
I managed to get up to London for the celebrations on Monday, and got to stand amongst the crowds in The Mall cheering and waving my proverbial flag ( I forgot to take one! along with my camera! doh! used my phone which ran out of battery!  ) and watching the concert! It was a fantastic day! Never mind the aching feet or sore throat from cheering, we bopped and danced amongst the best of them to the sounds of Tom Jones, Kylie, Madness, and Paul McCartney! Perfect! Back to reality the rest of the week :((  A big thank you to The Queen for giving us a glorious 4 days!

My desk is still perfectly tidy, ( evidence of no work done at all! and I got my gorgeous hand drawn ATC from Rachel, absolutely gorgeous, thank you :))).

I am continuing the celebrations from the weekend here with a little regal blog candy, join in and enjoy it a little more....
I hope to get round to a few desks later today, but work will be beckoning....time for another holiday? next week perhaps... am liking these long public holidays!!
Have a great WOYWW day
Hugs

I watched on TV, which was harder to find over here in the US. But I'm British through and through, so I loved it all. That flag was perfect and so is the ATC that used the stamp I saw in your giveaway post. I'm in LOVE with that stamp. Happy WOYWW from #4.

I've watched CNN on the Jubilee, 4 days of celebrating would be wonderful. Enjoy 157 and have a lovely week.

traveling all the way from Belgium to attend the Jubilee wasn't an option, but we did watch it on television. It was great!
And that atc you received is gorgeous. Hope there will be some action at your desk this week ;)
have a happy one,

Love your ATC. One clever lady there to have made that. I think the Jubilee was done just for London because nothing happened around here apart from an old man who put a union jack up upside down der!! Happy woyww.

Oh how I envy you your trip to London, must have been fantastic. I would love to have gone but wonky knee and all that doesn't allow. The ATC you received is gorgeous. Hope it won't be too long before we see a 'creative', not messy desk again. Happy WOYWW, Anne x #24

But did you remember an umbrella?? Fancy having no camera, lol - but thank goodness for phones! Well done for making it up here, I was too timid to brave the crowds.

I managed to miss posting last week - would love to send you an ATC or even swap if you're up for it. Please let me know either via my blog or at hsalthouse@yahoo.com. Thanks!

I have to ask, as I pondered it several times while watching the concert, what was it like trying to get home? I was imagining scenes like you see in Japan with people trying to get on the tube :)

Gorgeous ATC, really lovely :)

My computer gave me fits all weekend -- right now I'm at work trying to do a bit of catch up.

I watched the Queen's concert and really enjoyed it. Not so much other coverage here in the US.

The ATC you received looks great!!
