Graphic 45 workshop at THe Artistic Stamper

On Saturday I taught a class that I did at CHA with Graphic 45. I love the engineering that goes into Graphic 45's workshops, and this one was no exception! Originally I did the class in the USA with the Couture Papers, but decided to teach this class with Botanical Tea, and extra papers from Secret Garden.

I loved that everyone's book was so different. I forgot to take pictures of my finished book from the outside, so must do that!! Here are Val's and Rosemary's so different books, and oh even better I love that I always learn something new at every class I teach!! This time, it was what happens when you heat different ribbons! check out the wrinkled effect on Val's book ribbon! Amazing!

Graphic 45ing it!

I hope you have enjoyed your holiday weekend. I have spent all of it working, and learning new skills, but more of that tomorrow... In the meantime I taught a workshop on Saturday using the delicious papers, Secret Garden and French Country from Graphic 45. This class is always gentle and quiet.. as everyone spends time concentrating, and did I finish mine... no , of course not! I thought you might like to see some pictures from the girls' books, such gorgeousness!

Thank you to everyone who came along, it was pleasure as always.
Have a creative day

New Pop-up Workshops!

Now if you are wondering what a "pop up" workshop is, then I will explain. Often I plan my workshops quite a long way ahead, but at the moment, I am rather liking the idea of using the free Saturdays we have in the classroom to do pop up workshops, i.e. ones that I plan a couple of weeks ahead, so that they are fresh, and new, and use current products! This in mind I decided to teach a workshop using products that I used at CHA, and I just loved the class I took with Graphic 45 and Laura Dennison using the Place in Time 12 x 12 papers.  I wanted to teach it while it was fresh in my mind,  although I am sure I will learn more from my pupils!! Here is a sneaky peek of one of the pages.

You can book this class, and my other pop up (or as Mal calls it my pop in!!) class here. You will get ALL the products plus more, and the chance to use all the inks and sprays etc that we have in the classroom. If you fancy travelling to see us, then we can always recommend a good bed and breakfast or hotel to stay. Just give us a ring or email.
Hoping the snow has disappeared by then, Keep warm and have a creative evening Hugs
