Hi! I am taking part in this month's challenge which is winged things and can be interpreted any way you like. I used one of the Gibson Girls and gave her wings to fly!

Crowning Glory

Over on Sunday Stampers, the theme this week is "Song sung Blue", a tune, that yes, Hels is running round my head as I type! lol Blue has always been one of my favourite colours, and so I thought I would have no trouble making something for the challenge. Wrong! I wanted to make an alcohol inked domino. I duly had Mal drill me holes so I could hang stuff from them, and hang them up too, but it didn't quite work out like that. Can I find my silver headpins, my silver wire..not a hope.. buried somewhere in the mass (sorry, mess!)of my workshop, and I thought I had organised everything beautifully!! Later this afternoon, I feel a sort out coming!! watch out for tomorrow's pics on woyww!! So out came the alcohol inks, Pool, Aqua, and Denim, carefully dabbed on the domino. I used two images, one from the Gibson Girls plate, and one from Architecture Plate 2 (now retired) ,stamped with Black Archival. I know they needed something, so I did manage to find a gorgeous crown for one, and the other is from Tim's Idea-ology. Now all I have to do is add beads when I find the wire!

One Stop Craft Challenge

A Very Happy Love day to you, and after yesterday's exhausting and very full workshop, I have managed to find time today to make a little card for the One Stop Craft Challenge, which we are sponsoring this week. This is a chance for you to get out your cardmaking kit and get creating! I made a card using a little piece I made yesterday with one of the Gibson girls on alcohol inked card, distress inks, and the new lacy stamp. The FREE postage still applies today, so if you are thinking of browing , it is certainly worth it!This piece also qualifies for Hels Sunday Stamper..coo I am getting a lot in one blog post!

Journal page blues

By the time you read this I will be in Los Angeles, sipping a margarita, and hugging Mickey Mouse! I only wish!! I made this journal page on one of those days that I couldn't find much inspiration, and blue is always my favourite colour to use if I am not being inspired. The lady is from one of the Gibson Girls plates, and the words are Tim Holtz. I just inked up the background with distress inks ( always to hand!) and spritzed them lightly, actually there is a big white splodge on the girls face, but I quite liked that! A swirl stamp and a couple of Prima pearls and the middle of one of their flowers added the finish.

Little Blue ATC

I made this ATC in blue which is my favourite colour this week :), and realised I could enter it into Think Monday-Think ATC. I used the new Silver metallic film  that is in the shop now, as you can stamp and print on it, and I was just experimenting with it! It is really hard to photograph silver paper as it refects all the light, so apologies for the absolutely disgusting photo! it is fab in the flesh! Thank you Hels for cleaning it up for me :)

I used one of the Gibson Girls, and also the gorgeous HUGE Tim Holtz mask -Flourish behind it. I did use a black dabber as the background, and of course used a blue distress ink to stamp and colour in the background.
I have been reading blogs all over the place this week, as I didn't make it to CHA in Anaheim *sad*, looking to see what is new, and WOW is there some fab new stuff coming.... I am planning on certainly adding some of it to the shop, so watch this space! In The Blue

In case you wondered, the title is not how I feel, but is actually the name of this little ATC

Blue is been one of my favourite colours, and I always have a blue ink pad of some description on my desk. I inked the chintz background in True Blue Archival, and then inked the Gibson Girl in Cobalt Archival, and with the true blue pad, inked the paper she is on too! The Prima Flowers are turquoise and blue, and I inked them as well! Blue distress stickles glued the little gems on too!

A Present

I thought you might like to see what Lucy gave to me last week.She made a canvas from The Artistic Stamper products which I thought was gorgeous, and very kind of her. Lucy regularly does projects in Craft Stamper and is a member of our Creative Team too.

The background is using our pearlescent powder paints, the Gibson Girl die sheets, the Artist's die sheet, and fibres. I have to say the pictures do not do it justice.
