woyww...before and after

As you can see, I have tidied up, a bit! I did it in honour of What's on your Workdesk hosted by the Queen of Desks- Julia :)))) In reality all I did was throw it all in a box so you can see how tidy I can be!  Now I can't find anything! Actually sometimes I do need to tidy up, and get rid of the scrappy bits of paper, and empty bottles, half chewed chocolate bars ( who can craft without them?) and create a bigger space to work in than 6"!! So you have a before the tidy up, taken before it is dark...

and then after ...lol does it look any different? new mug.. acquired at Stitches, WIP, still lots of mini bottles! and a clean workmat!

Today's post is short and sharp, and please forgive me if I don't visit you as I have rather a heavy week, workwise. I did manage a few last week, and am very guilty of not having time to visit:(( but I love joining in woyww, so if you have never been on this travelator of crafty desks, then it is a must! Pop over to Julia's for a look see.
Have a creatively arty day!

Nothing like a little clean-up to get me in the mood to craft! I have to have a few inches of clear space before I can start!

Another tidy up! Mind, now you have space to create something beautiful, even if we can't rummage....!

nothing proves a clean up then a before and after picture. I understand about the chocolate. I started eating M+M's after the cats got a bar and redecorated a card I had made. What a mess. Thanks for sharing. Vickie #52

The "shove it in a box" technique is a classic. I'm a big fan. And having more than 6" to work in seems too luxurious to me!

I shall now eat a chocolate bar to celebrate your desk.

Thanks for sharing.

I love how you have a window right in front of you. So fun to have a tidy desk every once in a while isn't it?

New blinds very smart. Tell me what are the false eye lashes use for on a crafting desk? An impressive tidy up, gold star awarded to you I think.

Paperfanatic said...

Liking the blinds in the after shot. It's so hard to know what to keep handy on the desk and what to put away. Personally I like to have everything handy lol

Big fan of the Hide it anywhere method of tidying, lol. Shaz #148

Please do not mention Chocolate!! Given it up for Lent and could really do with some NOW!!
The only problem with the "shoving it here" tidy method is that you have to remember (a) which box (b) where's the box and (c) that you had it in the first place. Therefore I have given up on that method!!

Just leave it, leave it alone as it really makes me feel so much better about mine!! To tidy and I panic that I have to do it too...

Love the mug. Love the idea that tidy means another box full of stuff at your feet and love that you can find time to do a WOYWW, don't give a fig about visits, we just like seeing what you're up to. Which, judging by the list on the notebook, is all a bit serious!

At least you have an "after" desk! Sometimes I'm stuck on the "before" picture myself... Looks like fun to start over on.

Whats in the box then? Much more important to see what you think we shouldn't/wouldn't be interested in seeing. Love your panarama window. Hugs Mrs A. #57

The tidy desk is inspiring! Don't tell anybody, but I have some very suspicious boxes under my desk. LOL

The "shove it in a box" thing is right up there with my favourite, the "push it back" technique, and the ~"put it on any surface that cannot be see" technique. They all work for me. Don't work too hard this week.

Love the before and after shots - thanks! It's made me want to clear up my desk, or maybe sling it all in a box! lol!
