Creative Challenge April- Backgrounds

It has been a while since i blogged on here, but never mind as I have been creating on my other blog. I challenged myself to create in a journal for 365 days, and am well on the way to completing it ! you can find my efforts here ( creative journaling 365)
In the meantime i have also created a tag using Distress Oxides on a tag with lots of our background stamps, and few butterflies!

November's Creative Challenge- Autumnal

Hi, Oh dear, I really should write more...time just runs away with me, but never mind.

January 2016 Creative Challenge

Happy New Year and welcome to 2016!
 Over on The Creative Team blog, we are kicking off the new year in style with some fabulous artwork from some of the Creative Team, and myself.
Here is a little sneak peek of a journal page I created using Dylusions black journal page and some dylusions paints , and some new masks which will be availbale in 2016!

May's Creative Challenge- Journaling your HeART out!

Oh! it has been an age since I blogged on my poor neglected pages...and my New Year's resolution has gone out of the window.. in fact does any one read this when I occasionally post????
But here I am again with a double page journal spread.... I started off with lots of yellow ad reddish sprays, from Distress Stain Sprays to Dylusions, and let them run and mingle on the pages.

 

Add a few of The Artistic Stamper Masks with more sprays , this time in  reds, and a few stamps from Tick Tock plate

 

Add more stamps in Black Archival.. this time Katy Leitch's Numerical Plate

Finally add a gorgeous girl from the net!! ( I just googled what I wanted and found her, complete with the month of May.

Happy New Year! -a new blog challenge from The Creative Team

Happy New Year to you! I only have one new year's resolution and that is to blog much more regularly, so I am starting off with our new Creative Team Challenge by doing a page for a calendar which we made in our Christmas extravaganza. I have added a date, and hidden in the pocket is my new year's resolution! I dare you to challenge me to make it work! All comments gratefully received!

A short interlude.....

I had every intention of blogging while I was languishing in the hotel room after the show at Ally Pally, but... my feet hurt sorely, and I got tempted out for a long cocktail with some friends...lol, so I saved the pictures for today!
These are the most wonderful pieces of artwork from our very illustrious Creative Team, which are now on display at the shows which we do. Thank you girls for providing them:))



The show was great as always, and I met lots of friends and made new ones, and saw some gorgeous artwork ( thanks for showing Debs!), and even had my photo taken...eeek were they sure!!!???? The van is now unpacked, and it is back down to the business of running a rubber stamp company...that is until the next time.....

Numerical playground!

I have been playing, and this time with numbers! Lots of different ones, and just in time to join in The Artistic Stamper Creative Team brand new challenge for September! September! oh my the 9th month of the year, and it is the 1st day of the month! Only 2 1/2 months to Christmas!! Sorry shouldn't have mentioned that word!! LOL!
Anyways I spent a little time this afternoon, sitting in the late afternoon sun , which streamed through my window on the world, playing with dabbers and distress stains, perfect pearl mists, perfect pearls and Tim's Alphaparts and bingo pieces, and paper, in fact there is so much on this tiny box, ( one of the ones from my idea-ology print tray) could I cram anymore in? oh Yes, of course stamps...the ruler from the Ephemera plate! I expect so!! This is my entry for the Creative Team challenge for this month which is Numbers. You can find all the details here.

hOt, HOT, HoT

It seems an age since I created something, and I just seem to run out of time everyday! But I got a little bit of time this weekend, and have joined in this month's challenge over on the Creative Team blog which is using hot summery colours, and I thought while it is raining outside, why not make something that reminds me of summer..using hot colours, and a little bit of stamping.

I cannot believe that it is the last day of May! Time is slipping by fast! The sun has got his hat on...

hip, hip, hooray! Finally, it seems like the earth has warmed up, and the days are longer and lighter, and I can make art in daylight and not artificial light! This is a sneak peek of what I made early this morning before starting proper work! All the details of how I made it are on the Creative Team blog here!

Come sewing with me!

Yesterday I did an very intimate workshop with Kate, Rosemary and Caroline, and everybody worked very hard using lots of great products and learning to sew!! lol

Actually this workshop involved no sewing, just threading, and over on The Artistic Stamper Creative Team, I given a few of the techniques of the workshop. Thank you girls for a fab day, I was thoroughly exhausted when I got home! Next month we have a wax class which will be just as fun, and if you would like to come along click here to be transported for all the details.

It's the sixth Day of Tagging...

and my true love sent to me, a reindeer and a vagabond! I know it doesn't rhyme, but I don't care! I have finally managed to bust my electric Big Shot totally and completely, so am now hoping that Father Christmas will bring me a Vagabond!! Too much grungeboard, and it hates it! So I reverted to the trusty hand winding one, and here is my tag for today. Done in a bit of a hurry as off to meet my DD for dinner ... been a while since I saw her, so getting excited!! Little things please little minds!

Creative Team Focus

I love Bank Holiday Mondays, as it is not often I get a extra day off, the only thing being that I never can remember what day Tuesday is, and then spend the whole week thinking I have another day! Today is going to be spent clearing and tidying the rest of my studio after our major rehaul last week, or was it the week before? lol, my memory is so bad these days! Must be the hormones!! I then will have all my inks and stamps and stash all neatly in place. I wonder how long that will last?
So the only piece of art I have to show you is one from Susan , another member of my great and innovative Creative Design Team. Do pop over and say hi to her.

All New! The Artistic Stamper Blog Challenge.

Good Afternoon,

Today sees the launch of a new and exciting Challenge here on The Artistic Stamper Blog. Each month we will be adding a brand new challenge for you all to have fun with.

The theme this month is Architecture.

All you need to do to take part in the challenge is make something, be it an ATC, Tag, Card or even alter something, using rubberstamps that are Architecture themed. You don't have to use our stamps to take part but of course, if you would like to, we would be rather chuffed!!

Each month we will be offering a Blog Candy prize for a winner who will be chosen at random from the entries that we have had. The Candy this month is an A5 Architecture Plate from The Artistic Stamper and a set of our brand new and very alterable Chipboard Tags.

When you have made your work of art, please pop a comment onto this post with a link to your website/Blog/PhotoBucket where you are showcasing your creation. Your name will go into a hat and at the end of the month a winner will be picked at random. You will be contacted by either email if you have this enabled on your Blog or by us posting a comment on your Blog, so keep a look out for any notifications. If you are using a PhotoBucket to show your entry, please email us here at The Artistic Stamper to tell us about it so we have a way of contacting you should be be the lucky winner.
