January 2016 Creative Challenge

Happy New Year and welcome to 2016!
 Over on The Creative Team blog, we are kicking off the new year in style with some fabulous artwork from some of the Creative Team, and myself.
Here is a little sneak peek of a journal page I created using Dylusions black journal page and some dylusions paints , and some new masks which will be availbale in 2016!

The Artistic Stamper Creative Challenge for November

Hi!
 This month, the challenge over on The Creative Team blog is Fabric. We have so many gorgeous background stamps that are fabric related that I thought i would make a card that incorporated as many as possible.
I cut out card squares to fit an 8" x 8" card, and stamped them all up with Archival inks, and distress inks. I also white embossed the lace backgrounds, and then distress inked them. Finally I glued them all down, and zig zag machine stitched them onto the card, giving it a patchworky feel.
Here is the card, plus each individual block...

I would love to know which is your favourite... mine is the lace, or maybe the red polka dot...lol
Please do join in the challenge. You can interpret it anyway you like, as long as it has some stamping in it.

Creative Team Monthly Challenge- Embossing & Texture

The Artistic Stamper Creative Team Challenge- Natural World

I just cannot believe that we are already in October, and for me although the dark depresses me, I do seem to get more time to create ....work that one out!!! Of course it is time for a new challenge over on the Team blog, and the girls have done a stunning job this time! I even joined in too! Happy New Year, and time for a new challenge!

Hello and Happy New Year.. welcome to 2012! I am amazed as to where the past year has gone, and I could waffle on about what has happened , and what I have achieved etc etc...but I like to look forward and to set new challenges for myself.. resolutions?? nah... don't do them, although getting tidier might be an option!! This is my 700th post!!! where has the time gone? and for it I am introducing a new Creative Team challenge for a new year! This month the challenge is VINTAGE. I made this little card using some of the photographic images we have in our stamps.. how I made this, and to see all the wonderful creations the girls have made, hop, skip and fly through inter galactic space to The Creative Team blog!

Now a little bird told me we have SALE on at the website.. what better way to celebrate the new Year and my monumentous ( is there such a word? if not I have just created one!) post!

New Stamps, New Challenge and Winner of the Red Roses!!!

I promised you a big surprise blog today and here it is!
Firstly,we have a brand new range of unmounted rubber stamps designed by Hels Sheridan called Stitchels

I just love them, and they are very versatile, as you will find out soon.

Finally, I have a new Blog challenge using Magnolia stamps with blog candy (Rowdy William) see below courtesy of Donna from Crafty Krafts . Thank you Donna.

I am absolutely delighted with the stamps Hels has designed, as they go so well with the Magnolia and Tilda stamps. I got given a Magnolia stamp and bought the house , (okay I finally succumbed to the Magnolia stamps!) and made a card for the challenge .

I am quite chuffed with it, and used Prismacolour pencils to colour it in- very soothing colouring in! For the challenge you can make anything you like as long as it has a Magnolia, Tilda,or Stitchels stamp in it. Here is the blog candy and you will also get a Stitchels stamp too!
The challenge ends on Sunday July 20th.

Surprises galore....

This Saturday sees the end of the Red Roses giveaway, a new blog challenge which some of you will love and some won't! I had great fun with it... horrid aren't I - No, I am not giving anything away at all...AND the best of all is a NEW set of stamps which we are launching this weekend!!!

Some of you have the first set already, and this weekend sees the official launch of them....

More Christmas in July....

Just keeping up the momentum for the July challenge, Lucy from the Artistic Stamper Creative Team has created some gorgeous Christmas cards here. She has used the three wise men from Christmas Plate 1.
This challenge lasts until July 31st , so get out those cards you created last year or create a new one, or make a decoration like Dan, or a puzzle piece like Andrea.

June Challenge - Animals

Another month, another Challenge for you all to have a try at! Thank you to all of you for joining in with the last challenge. There were lots of lovely entries but only one person can win the Candy - and the winner, who was chosen at random is Cynthia(Rainbow Lady) Congratulations!.
