WOYWW...a flash in the pan!

It has been a very long, lovely, week this week as we have had a four day holiday with Easter, and suddenly what happened, Wednesday has appeared again, and it is time to show you my desk again! Now don't gasp, or swear, but I tidied! gone are the bottles, gone is the push it back, pile it high , heap of crafty stuff!  I was very chuffed with my tidying...it meant I could prep some workshops, make some Art, play with new goodies....
I mean look at all this tidiness...
then look sideways, and ..well...this is what happens when you tidy up, and go to look for something... oh the power of photo cropping! ROFL!

So one half is tidy, and the other still needs tidying.. that's next week's job! Still I should be grateful, I have a clear space to create in, and tidying up is good for the soul!!
Now if you have just landed on my blog from outer Mongolia, and haven't a clue what on earth I am on about, then leap into hyperspace to the Queen of desks, and have a wander around a couple of hundred other desks, that are much neater than mine!
Happy What's on Your Workdesk!

A messy desk is the sign of a crafty mind and only having one half tidy shows your inner creative streak trying to escape and you can always find things quicker in a massive pile of stuff lol.

Half tidy is better than not at all! Just think of all the space you can fill with stuff!

very nice cropping of the picture. My desk looks similarly lopsided! The neat and tidy stays in the center as the piled higher and deeper creeps to the sides. Thanks for sharing. Vickie aka okienurse #37

Oh Jennie - I was nearly very impressed then! If you'd left out the last photo we all would have believed your desk was super tidy!!

Still, at least you have a huge space to play on now :-)

Love your tidy desk - but then WHAM! I am transported to something slightly busy on the side. Typical of us all - long may we be creative.

Half tidy, half chaos - sound like a balanced life to me. Got to have a clean too - I could start embossing with my dust...
Thanks for the peek - enjoy your week!

This is called the push back method....I'm so good at this! Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I am a fellow 'push it to one side' tidier, if the camera can't see it, it isn't really there, is it? Shaz #76

I'm in the middle of tidying too and prefer to look at the tidy bit and kid myself it all looks like that until I turn round.

LOL... great pics of your work desk today... the tidy bit means you have space to work and the packed to the gills bit means everything you want to play with is at hand... sounds like a sound compromise to me!! Annette #5

It always seems as though I can't tidy both sides at the same time either! I guess you always need a little mess, it just houses your creativity. Good luck with the other side! :)

Ah two sided desks - bliss - space to move but no need to put it all away - am loving that pile of inkpads! I wonder what you'll do with such space - I'd panic and fill it up agaiN!

A lady after my own heart.... Open a door/drawer and pop it in, or just scroosh it up into the other half of the photo!!!!

I like looking at tools & equipment to see the new, the familiar and the organisation. Your desk is great - think I'd like a whirlygig for the Distress applicators.
Happy days, Ros.

Your cleaning up reminds me of myself. We can't help it, we intend to finish the job, but then we find something while we clean up and inspiration strikes! We all know what happens if we ignore mr. Mojo - he leaves - and that would be a disaster, so what can we do, cleaning just has to wait. I get it.
Happy WOYWW
