Home Sweet PINK Home!

This piece came about because I have just received some of the girl's paperie chipboard and stickers, and ribbon for the shop. I love the pink colour, and absolutely am a pink girl! I am sponsoring Alter it Monthly this month ( you get to win a voucher worth £15.00 for goodies from The Artistic Stamper), and the theme is Home Sweet Home, and although technically I haven't really altered anything except a piece of paper, I thought this fitted perfectly!
I absolutely adore these goodies from Margie, so pretty, and the words are brilliant.. can you tell I am in lurve! I grabbed a piece of pink stripy paper, and really did nothing much else but add to the layout with the sticker letters, and the die cuts, and the gorgeous ribbon., not a stamp in sight! The pin attached to the ribbon is a Tim pin with a watch piece layered in with glossy accents.  I did also succumb to a large amount of glossy accents on the clock and the letters "pink", and the little roses in the picture frame are a fabulous way of using Grungepaper with a technique blatantly stolen from Lynne Forsythe! Thank you Lynne, these are even more addictive than grungepaper roses! I have to confess that I did distress ink them, and used superglue, as I couldn't wait for the glossy accents to dry. I also used Tim's on the edge dies to cut the strips, and to give them a little bit more texture.
I hope you like, and will pop over to Alter it Monthly to see the fabulous artwork, and enter their challenge!
Hugs

After seeing how you used the chipboard, I am more enthused than before!
